Recently, Chongqing Education Commission announced the third batch of Huang Danian type teacher team list of Chongqing Universities, and the "unconventional natural Gas efficient development and utilization teacher team" led by Professor Lu Yiyu from The School of Resources and Safety Engineering of Chongqing University was selected.

The "Unconventional Natural Gas Efficient Development and Utilization Teacher team" was established in December 2013, mainly engaged in the research of coalbed methane, shale gas adsorption/desorption dynamics, coalbed methane, shale gas seepage mechanics and unconventional natural gas reservoir reconstruction under multi-field coupling. At present, the team consists of 18 permanent researchers, with Professor Lu Yiyu as the academic leader, academician Xian Xuefu and Academician Li Xiaohong as the academic advisers, and the main age structure is young and middle-aged.

Team is committed to unconventional natural gas, coalbed methane, shale gas development and utilization of efficient theoretical basis and application research, in this area to undertake national 973 projects, major national science and technology transformation projects, the national major projects of oil and gas, 863 plan, the national natural science fund project research topic more than 40 items, such as the team it has won third prize of national scientific and technological progress second prize three, two, He has won 9 first prizes and 9 second prizes at provincial and ministerial level, applied for and authorized more than 30 patents, published 5 books and more than 300 papers.
