Introduction about Alumnus Mr.Zhang Lifeng

Mr.Zhang Lifeng, male, born in Fengrun, Hebei province in August 1971, professor, doctoral supervisor.He is now the standingcommittee member and vicepresident of Yanshan University.
Education: Bachelor's degree inmetallurgy andmaterialengineering from Chongqing University in 1993;Doctor's degree in metallurgyfromUniversity of Science and TechnologyofBeijing, 1993-1998;2000-2001 postdoctoral fellow, Institute of Metallurgy, Klostahl Technical University, Germany.

Work experience:from1998-2000,he was aspecial researcher for foreigners, Japan Academic Revitalization Association, Department of Engineering, Tohoku University;2001-2005,researchassistant and researcher, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA;2005-2007, Professor, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology.From 2007 to 2011,heserved as assistant professor and associate professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Missouri University of Science and Technology.From early 2012 to 2019,hereturned to China as dean of School of Metallurgy and Ecological Engineering, University of Science&Technology Beijing.In September 2019, he became vicepresident of Yanshan University.

He has published more than 230 scientific papers, of which more than 100 have been published in journals,andmost of which have been published internationally.By September 2011, more than 50of hisarticles had been indexed by SCI and 140 by EI.His published articles have been cited by others more than 500 times.
He has made more than 160 speeches at international and domestic conferences, enterprises and universities, among which he has been invited by the organizers for many times.He has been invited to review manuscripts for 26 international journals.
He has organized and hosted many international conferences, such as theannual international conference of The American Mineral, Metals and Materials Association (TMS), the annual internationalconference of the American Iron and Steel Institute (AIST), theinternationalsolarenergyconference, theinternationalconference onmaterialsscience andtechnology, theinternationalrecyclingconference and so on.
He has undertaken and participated in more than 60 international research projects from the Natural Science Foundation of the United States, the Department of Energy of the United States, the Department of Defense of the United States, the Society of MoldMetallurgy of the United States, the Academic Council of Norway, the Research Fund of the European Union, the Research Council of Germany, the Academic Association of Japan, and someotherworld famous steel enterprises.
He has undertaken9 longitudinal projects, including key projects ofNatural Science Foundation;36 enterprise projects, covering 18 domestic steel companies including Baosteel and Shougang;He has published 30 papers in English journals, 19 papers in Chinese journals and more than 60 papers in conferences at home and abroad.He has beenauthorized3 invention patents, 27 utility model patents.He used to reviewed manuscripts for more than 60 domestic and foreign publications.
