Accommodation Registration

Foreigners must get a accommodation registration form within 24 hours of their arrival in China. In most cases, the resident must complete a temporary accommodation registration form. If you live on the campus A of Chongqing University, simply go to the Shapingba police station. If you live on the campus D of Chongqing University, simply go to the Huxi police station.

If you rent an apartment off campus, you must visit the local police station promptly togethere with your landlord.
Please note that if you have renewed your passport or visa, changed your address or the purpose of your residence, you must re-apply for a new housing registration form within 10 days. Otherwise, you will be regarded as an illegal resident and be fined accordingly.
