Professor Shilong Wang is a Ph.D Supervisor. He gets his doctoral degree in Engineering and now is the Vice President of Chongqing University. Owing to his academic achievements and reputation, Prof. Wang was appointed as a board member of the eighth Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and was awarded the Distinguished Professor of Yangtze River Scholar, the Distinguished Young Scholar for National Science Fund, and the leader of the Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education. He also is National expert of the new century talents project, and the Project Leader of Chongqing Innovation Research Group.
Professor Shilong Wang Used to work part-time as the expert of the National High Technology Research and Development Program (‘863’ Program) in advanced manufacturing field, the member of expert committee of National Innovation and application demonstration project of NC generation mechanical products, and the vice director of the intelligent manufacturing committee of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence.Now he works part-time as themember of expert committee of the national Key Research and Development Program of China ‘networked collaborative manufacturing and intelligent factory’, the vice director of Mechanical industry automation branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES/MIA), the vice director of National Seminar of Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Machine Tool, the member of the editor board of ‘Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering’,the ‘Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems’,and et al.
He has published more than 100 papers indexed by SCI, authorized 43 national invention patents, and published 4 academic monographs. He was Invited to give keynote speeches in national/international conferences, including the 13th/14thinternational conference of frontiers of design and manufacturing (ICFDM) held by the National Nature Science Foundation Council, the International Conference of Computer and Information Engineering held by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the 4thAcademic Conference on Digital Twin and Intelligent Manufacturing, and et al.
He presided 40 national major/key programs, including thekey program of national nature science foundation of China,thenational science and technology infrastructure program,the national project of aero engine and gas turbine,the National Science and Technology Support Program,the national science and technology major project of China, and et al.
He has actively engaged in the research fields of advanced manufacturing technology for long and was awarded the three Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, one First Class Prize for Provincial and Ministerial Award for Technological Invention, three First Class Prizes for Provincial and Ministerial Award for Science and Technology Progress, two First Class Prizes for Provincial Award for teaching achievements, and et al.
