Yong obtained his B.S. in 2012 and Ph.D. in 2017 from College of Chemistry,Sichuan University under the supervision of Prof.XiaomingFeng. His Ph.D. studies focused on enantioselective ring-openings of cyclopropyl ketones.He conducted postdoctoral research with Prof. Armido Studer at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universitätfrom 2017 to 2021, where his research focused on radical chemistry.In September 2021, he joined Chongqing University as PI to start his independent research. Prof.Xia’s research interests focus on the development ofchiral low-valent metal complexes and their applications in asymmetric catalysis.
