Personal profile

Ruikun Dong, professor, doctoral supervisor, has worked in Chongqing University since 2001. He has been engaged in road engineering teaching, scientific research and design for a long period of time. He has conducted in-depth research on pavement structure, pavement materials, pavement construction technology and developed stable, high-content, environmentally-friendly rubber modified asphalts, which were applied in engineering practice. He also undertook more than 70 design projects for highway construction, reconstruction, and pavement repair, with a total mileage of more than 5000 kilometers. He proposed a decision-making strategy system for preventive maintenance of asphalt pavement, and conducted in-depth research on pavement rejuvenation, materials and structure design, considering durability problems, heavy-duty traffic and other special environmental conditions, which are successfully applied to solve the technical problems in highway construction.
