HongHuangwas born inHunan Province,China, in 1980. He received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees from Chongqing University, China, in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively. In 2009, he joined the College of Opto-Electronic Engineering, Chongqing University, as a Lecturer, became an Associate Professor in 2012, and a Professor in 2017. Hewasa Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering, University of Rhode Island, United States. His main research activities are in the fields of image processing, pattern recognition,machinelearningandtheirapplications in remote sensing, medical imaging and industry. In particular, he pays more attention to manifold learning, deep learning, graph learning, and hyperspectral remote sensing.
Dr. Huangserved as theGuestAssociate Editor ofFrontiers in Oncology, and a Reviewer of over 20 international journals, includingIEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing,IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Information Sciences, and IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging.
