【PERSONAL PROFILE】

Dr. Wang,PingQing, graduated from China Agricultural University (Ph.D. in Animal Genetics and Breeding, 1996.03). he joined Chongqing University (1998.07) to carry out teaching/research work. He has presided Molecular mechanism of RFRP- 3 neuropeptide in the seasonal regulation of reproduction in goat supported National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Cloning and identification the functional genes associated with high fertility traits in small tail han sheep supported by Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Science and Technology, Breeding and industrialization development in black pig of Fuling supported by Chongqing Technological Innovation and Application Development Project. He has published more than 20 papers in journals such as BMC Systems Biology,Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience,Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology, etc. Current courses taught by Dr. Wang PingQing include Technology of Gene Engineering,Principles and Technology of Genetic Engineering,etc. He has supervised 25 master students.

【RESEARCH INTERESTS】

Based on biochemistry, molecular biology and endocrinology, using genetic engineering technology, focus on following respects:

2. Epigenetic Mechanism in Reproductive Regulation

3. Regulation Network in Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Gonadal (HPG) Axis
